ABOUT US

Established in 2014 after the Umbrella Movement, Civil Rights Observer is a civil society organisation focusing on the police use of power as well as civil and political rights in Hong Kong. We work in the domestic- and international -level to advocate for better human rights protection in Hong Kong by documenting the human rights situation in the city and participating in the U.N. mechanism.
